Course Details
The Country Club Of Scranton is a private club in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania that was created in 1896. Walter J. Travis was hired to design the original 18 hole golf course at the club, which opened in 1927. A half-century later enough land had been added to the club's holdings to add another nine holes and Michael Hurdzan was hired to design the "New Nine" that opened in 1990. The club is located in the town of Clarks Summit, less than 10 miles northwest of downtown Scranton.
