Course Details

East Lake Golf Club is best known as the home course of Bobby Jones and, since it's rehabilitation in the 1990's, the home of the PGA Tour's "Tour Championship". The course was originally designed by famed architect Donald Ross and was restored by Rees Jones for it's 1994 re-opening.

More than just a rebuild of the course and the clubhouse, the work done at East Lake was also meant to help rehabilitate the surrounding East Lake community. The course is located about 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta, a short distance from I-20. But this is a private club, so you'll probably need to know somebody to get a chance to play this classic layout.  You can find hotels near East Lake Golf Club at TheRealPlaces.com.  East Lake Golf Club is 5.1 miles from downtown Atlanta.

Telescopic Golf Ball Retriever

Balls can be expensive. There's nothing wrong with taking a few seconds to pull a ball or two out of one of those bleeping "penalty areas".
